This entryway is such a perfect mix of form and function. The drawers and baskets make it super practical, but it’s the layered decor and thoughtful styling that give it a refined, effortless look.
The Thoughts Behind the Look
Let’s start with the console. It’s a beautiful long piece, perfect for a hallway or spacious entryway. With three drawers and a lower shelf, it offers just the right amount of storage. I added woven rattan baskets underneath—great for throw blankets, extra pillows, or anything you want to grab on the way out the door.
Above it, I chose this stunning arched brass mirror with ornate details. It brings such a vintage charm to the setup and creates a beautiful contrast against the sleek, modern lines of the console.
For lighting, I went with a soft white ceramic lamp. The curved shape feels gentle and elegant—exactly the kind of subtle designer touch I love. I paired it with a handled vase for a sculptural moment, and the greenery is just the cherry on top.
And of course, I had to layer in some framed art. It’s one of the easiest ways to create depth and make a space feel curated and intentionally styled.
