This entryway is all about embracing earthy colors and natural textures. I was inspired by the beauty of summer—clear skies, warm sunshine, and that craving for a light, airy, and cool aesthetic.
The Thought Behind the Look
Since this is a summer entryway look, I wanted to stay within a cooler color palette while making sure the space didn’t feel flat or one-dimensional. I started with a light wood console table — its minimalist design brings a quiet elegance that feels calm, clean, and seasonally appropriate. I love the simplicity of this piece; it keeps the whole look effortlessly pulled together.
For the focal point, I opted for a large framed artwork instead of a mirror to really highlight that light and airy summer vibe. The print—with its soft cliffside view and clean white frame—adds movement and serenity. You can almost feel the breeze just looking at it!
To bring in some visual contrast, I layered in a ceramic table lamp with a solid olive green base and a crisp white shade. It grounds the setup without overpowering the palette. On the opposite side, white vases in varying heights help balance the composition and keep the styling light yet layered. The faux green stems look incredibly realistic—they instantly breathe life into the space and make it feel connected to nature.
A textured catch-all bowl sits front and center, adding a sculptural element with practical purpose. And finally, I anchored the look with a pair of woven rattan cubes. Their subtle texture and tone-on-tone finish give a cohesive, monochromatic feel that still feels rich and summery.
