Elegant Fall Entryway Decor with a Black Console & Warm Accents
See how to create a luxurious fall entryway with a bold black console as the anchor.
A lot of us have a beautiful black console table in the entryway—but figuring out how to style it for fall can feel tricky. In this design, I wanted to show you exactly how to layer and decorate your black console table for the season. From simple styling tips to budget-friendly finds, this breakdown is full of ideas you can easily recreate in your own home.
The Thoughts Behind the Look
I started with this vintage-style black console table—which, by the way, is incredibly budget-friendly. The deep drawers and drop hardware make it such a standout piece on its own. To create a tone-on-tone look, I layered it with a black arched mirror as the focal point. For lighting, I chose an earthy, rustic table lamp that feels so at home in fall. The sculptural base adds just the right amount of visual interest.
To balance the look, I styled it with a gorgeous, best-selling rattan vase from McGee & Co. Rattan is a major trend in organic modern decor and fits perfectly for fall. I filled it with these beautiful rust-colored fall stems—they're super realistic and bring the whole setup to life. I also layered in some warm-toned artwork in front of the mirror for depth, and of course, finished it off with a brass pumpkin. It adds just the right touch of seasonal charm and warmth.
